Hi there! I'm new to site. I am in my 30's and going back for 2nd time to finally finish. Balancing 50 hrs work with school work and family, etc. is the biggest problem. The course material can be learned, the work can be done, it's just that there are not enough hours in the day. I'm a first -generational college student - so it's rough going. I have earned enough credits --60 to be exact-to get my Substitute Teacher's License. I received my certificate & will teach Spanish -when I retire down the road & in the mean time because Corzine is giving us 12 days furlough with NO PAY - I will sub if get the chance to make up the money. I added some info. about the Return to College site today on my Nontrads blog. Then I also mentioned the Yahoo group and the Mature Student ning page too, since I joined it a long time ago. I think perhaps having more than one group to join is a good thing, because they can all help get members for each other. I think this group will wind up being the biggest by far though. I would really like it if my Ning blog on Return to College would post itself on Twitter. That would mean I could do two things at once. I will have to suggest that to the Ning people. I hope that the links I posted to my websites helps people join this group. I think it will be a great group. Already it has interest. Hopefully this addition of the links will help people come to this group. It also might be a good idea to blog about it and also put it on Twitter.
